French Ligue 1 is widely considered as one of the top 5 european leagues and that largely down to the fact PSG have dominated the domestic football in France for best part of last 15 years. They have won 11 of the last 12 Ligue 1 titles, assembled glactico squads and really put French football on world stage. 40% of the total wage bill in French top division is spent by PSG on their squad salaries. Their wage bill is not only highest in France but they also have one of the highest wage bill in the world only behind the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City. 8 of the clubs in Ligue 1 dont even have 10% of PSG's wage bill while the second highest wage bill in the league is more than half of PSG's €196 million a year expense on salaries.
