Barcelona has wage bill of around €211.4 million. However, the third highest wage bill is not even half of Real Madrid and that is where the league competitive edge takes bit of an hit. Ateltico Madrid has wage bill of only €139 million. While 10 clubs in the league has wage bill less then €30 million a year. That is roughly 10% of what Real Madrid spend on players yearly. Average Salary In La Liga: The average salary in La Liga is around €1.3 million per season. However unlike other top European leagues, there is minimum salary law in Spanish football where clubs in Spain's top division (La Liga) must pay minimum of €195,000 per season salary to players 21 or above.
