2025 Contract Extension (McLaren)
March 2025 - Oscar Piastri signed financially improved 2-year (2027/28) contract extension with McLaren which will increase his base salary from 2026 season to massive $20 million a-year plus performance related bonuses upto $10 million a-year making it yearly package of $30 million (gross) per season until 2028 season.

McLaren Current Contract (2023/26)
Oscar Piastri joined McLaren F1 team for 2023 season after his dispute with Alpine. He initially joined Mclaren on a 1-year deal which was extended after 15 races with the team until 2026 season. Since then he has established himself as the main-man in McLaren F1 thanks to his incredible performances in 2024 and 2025. When Piastri initially joined McLaren back in 2023 he base salary was only $4.5 million which was increased to $6 million for 2024 and 2025 season.
