ICC T20 World Cup 2026 Prize Money

ICC has announced another prize money hike for the upcomin T20 World Cup 2026 which will be jointly hosted by Sri Lanka and India. ICC announced almost 20% increase from the last prize money from 2024 tournament. Total prize money pool now jumps to $13.5 million for 2026 tournament compared to $11.25 million distrubuted among 2024 participants. The eventual Winners will get around $3 million in 2026 compared to $2.45 million given to 2024 champions. Below is the official breakdown of 2026 T20 World Cup Prize money fund.

ICC has increased the T20 World Cup prize money fund on third consecutive time and according to ICC spokesman, ICC plan to take total prize money fund T20 world cups to around $30 million for each event by 2030.
