Salaryleaks.com is founded in the spirit of the game. There are number of sports/football salary websites and while browsing them you quickly realize their data is half cooked to say the least. In Europe, neither club nor player disclose their salary and other financial data. Only the contract length and some other clauses are disclosed. What other websites are doing right now is working on estimates of certain teams and base that to create absolutely wrong salary data for majority of players.
Take for example Sevilla and Athletic Bilbao salaries on 'popular salary database' website. Go through both squads and see how they base Sevilla player salaries on Athletic Bilbao squad salaries. They only have estimates for popular players whose salaries are either leaked by player agent or quoted in big news sites like BBC, Guardian etc. They do not have any access or even accurate estimates for around 90% of the football player salaries.

What plan to do is give you source link of each player's salary data added into our system. We do not take data from API or any other third party. We research, create our own data. Take for example our data on Italian Serie A club salaries. (Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus, AS Roma, Napoli) and you will find highly accurate wage bill and salary data. Harnessed from trusted sources in Italian media where we quote both gross and net salaries of the player. Some of the foreign players in Italy benefit from tax relief under Growth Decree and those players are also labeled accordingly.
