Brighton signed Carlos Baleba from Lille back in August 2023 for reported £27 million in transfer fee. He signed 5-year (2023/28) contract with option to extend until June 2029. His current five year deal is earning him £30,000 weekly wages (£1.56m gross per season). Reports of his salary being as low as £12,500 a-week are not true according to several reporters in English media.
Manchester United have recently made initial approach to sign Carlos Baleba from Brighton, player has already agreed person terms for 5-year contract worth £100,000 per week salary plus bonuses.
