Lawrence Shankland
Lawrence Shankland has signed financially improved 3-year (2025/28) contract at Heart of Midlothian. His salary was increased to £25,000 per week / £1.3 million (gross) per season from less then £10,000 per week he was earning previously.
Lawrence Shankland joined Hearts from Beerschot VA for reported £400,000 in transfer fee back in 2022. His initial 3-year (2022/25) contract was earning him less then £10,000 per week. But he is widely considered as one of the best signings Hearts have made considering what they paid for him. With his contract expiring in June 2025, he had options to move abroad for big money but Hearts were desperate to keep him at the club. They offered him a deal which made him highest paid player at the squad and rightly so considering his contributions to the team.
