First Professional Contract
25 September 2025 - Rio Ngumoha signed his first professional contract at Liverpool which is a 3-year deal until 2028. His salary will be £1,000 per week (£52,000 a-year) for the first year. According to Adam Williams Liverpool will not break their youth wage structure but go-around it with bonuses of atleast upto £1 million a-year. Ngumoha will be able re-negotiate the financial terms when he turns 18.

Academy Scholarship Contract
Rio Ngumoha spent 2-years on Liverpool's scholars contract where he was earning £300 per week / £15,500 a-year. However according to number of reporters in English media he is set to sign his first professional contract after turning 17 by end of August 2025. His first pro contract will earn him £1,000 a week atleast until he is 18-year old according to Liverpool's wage structure for youth development.
