Babar Azam currently has Category A central contract with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) which nets him monthly salary of around Rs. 4.5 million PKR ($16,000) that amounts to Rs. 5.4 Crore PKR ($190,000) yearly. That is only the basic retainer fee which PCB pays to players placed in Category A. Baber Azam also earns around Rs, 2.4 Crore PKR ($82,000) yearly from ICC revenue share under the new contract clause of PCB.
