Dušan Vlahović
Juventus paid a massive €83.5 million in transfer fee to sign Dušan Vlahović from Fiorentina back in 2022. Juventus also offered him one of the biggest contract in Seria A where his 4-year (2022/26) contract would earn him €22.5 million (gross) per year. That is massive €12m net per season making him the highest paid player in Serie A. However things did not go as planned and Vlahović has been below par to say the least.
By June 2025, Vlahović enters into his last year of the contract and Juventus are looking to off-load him before the start of new season. However, Vlahović is determined to get full €12 million (net) salary for his last year of the contract even if he signs for another club and they do not match the high salary he is getting. In that case Juventus will have to pay him severance fee to compensate to make up the €12m net salary.
