Erling Haaland signed financially improved 10-year (2025/34) contract with Manchester City back in January 2025. It became the biggest contract in English football history where Haaland became the highest paid player in Premier League with base salary of £500,000 a-week (£26 million a-year gross). That is not it, he is also entitled to performance related bonuses upto £10 million a-year taking his total yearly package to around £36 million a-year gross.
Manchester City signed Haaland from Borussia Dortmund back in 2022 and he was already on £350,000 a-week salary with his initial contract with City. However this new contract extension signed in January 2025 make him the highest paid player in premier League by far.
