Franco Umeh
Franco Umeh-Chibueze signed his first professional contract with Cork City back in 2022. In February 2023, he transferred to Crystal Palace for only €75,000 after Palace triggered released clause. He showed a lot of promise in under-19 and under-21 but failed to breakthrough the first team. His initial contract was only for 2-years and in July 2025, Franco Umeh rejected the offer made by Palace for new contract and became free-agent as of June, 30, 2025.
He is looking for first team opportunities either in Premier League or any top championship club. His salary at Palace was around Franco Umeh £1,200 per week (£62,500 a-year) gross. He is apparently looking for a club which can offer him first team opportunities with premier league level wages.
