Gerard Moreno is currently the highest paid player in Villarreal squad with his 6-year (2021/27) contract signed back in August 2021. His current base salary at the club is around €3.6 million a-year (gross) which put him at the top of highest earners in Villarreal squad. He came through the Villarreal academy but moved to Espanyol where he spent three seasons between (2015 to 2018).
