Bayern Munich signed Leon Goretzka on free-transfer back in 2018 after his contract ran out with FC Schalke. His initial contract was for 5-years where he was earning around €10 million a-year salary. However he negotiated financially improved 5-year (2021/26) contract with Bayern increasing his salary to around €13 million a-year (gross) including all performance related bonuses.
However, 2025/26 is suppose to be his last season with the current deal and Bayern are open to extend his stay at the club but only if he agree to lower his salary demands.
