23 February 2025 - Robin Van Persie was appointed as Feyenoord manager on initial 2-year (2025/27) contract. Feyenoord paid €1.5 million to Heerenveen to release Van Perise of his contract so that they can sign him mid-season. (According to reported Sander de Vries of 'Leeuwarder Courant'). Van Persie's initial salary at the club is around €1.5 million.
