He signed 3-year contract until June 2027 with reported salary of €7 million plus bonuses upto €2 million a-year for winning Bundesliga or Champions League. Bayern also paid around £10 million to Burnley as compensation fee.

Kompany was appointed as Burnley manager back in 14 June 2022. His initial deal was 2-year contract but after guiding Burnley to promotion he signed financially improved five-year (until 2028) back in May 2023. His salary was improved to £2 million a-year from only £850,000 per season with the initial contract.
