26th August 2025 - Niko Kovač signed financially improved 2-year contract (2025/27) contract. His base salary was improved to €4.5 million per season plus bonuses for winning major trophies or reaching later rounds of Champions League.
Borussia Dortmund
Niko Kovač was appointed as Borussia Dortmund manager on 18-month contract until June 2026 back in January 2025. His initial salary at the club was €3.5 million. He was also paid €750,000 as bonus for qualifying for Champions League.
AS Monaco
19 July 2020 - Niko Kovač signed three-year (2020/23) contract at AS Monaco with salary of around €4 million per season according to french media. However he was sacked by January 2022.
