Matthias Ginter
Matthias Ginter joined Freigburg from Borussia M'Gladbach on free-transfer back in 2022. He signed 5-year (2022/27) contract with the club doubling his salary from €3.1 million (gross) per season he was earning to €6.2 million per season at Freiburg. He also got €6.5 million in signing-on bonus which would be paid in installments with his salary over five year period.
Mattias Ginter previouly joined Dortmund from Freiburg back in 2014 for reported €10 million transfer fee. His salary with Dortmund contract was around €1.5 million a-year (gross). He then moved to Gladback in 2017 for reported €17 million fee. He salary was increased to €3.1 million a-year at Gladbach.
