October 2025 Update - Maximilian Arnold and Wolfsburg are in talks to extend his contract as his current deal expires in June 2026. Wolfsburg have offered 2-year contract at reduced wages of €4 million (gross) per season while player's camp is demanding atleast 3-year deal.

2021 Contract Extension
Maximilian Arnold signed financially improved 5-year (2021/26) contract with Wolfsburg back in February 2021. His salary was increased to club's highest at €5 million (gross) per season.
2017 Contract Extension (Wolfsburg)
He came through the Wolfsburg academy and has been at the club since the age of 17 as he became the youngest player to play for Wolfsburg in Bundesliga. He has signed multiple extensions at the club including financially improved contract in 2017 with salary of €4 million (gross) per season.
