Nick Woltemade
Newcastle United Transfer & Contract: Nick Woltemade joined Newcastle united from Stuttgart for reported £60.5 million plus add-ons. He is set to sign 5-year contract until 2030 at Newcastle with massive increase in his salary. According to early reports in German media his salary at Newcastle United will be around £120,000 per week / £6.24m a-year.
Bayern Munich Approach: Nick Woltemade had accepted personal terms with Bayern Munich on similar salary of €7.5 million plus bonuses. However Bayern did not meet the transfer fee asked by Stuttgart which opened the door for Newcastle United.
New Contract offer at Stuttgart: Stuttgart themselves had offered Woltemade financially improved 5-year deal worth €2.5 million a-year in during the summer to keep him at the club. But Newcastle United managed to complete this transfer which means it will open up further activity in the market involving Isak, Jackson and some other strikers.
