Silvan Widmer
Silvan Widmer signed financially improved 3-year (2023/26) contract extension with FC Mainz back in July 2023. His new contract not only increased his salary to €1.89 million (gross) per season, he was also made captain of the team. He initially joined FC Mainz from FC Basel back in 2021 for a reported €2.5 million in transfer fee. His previous salary at the club was €1.2 million (gross) during first two years at the club.
