DFB Pokal Prize Money 2025/26 (Confirmed)

DFB Pokal is to Germany what FA Cup to English football. But unlike FA Cup, the stakes are much higher in DFB Pokal considering the amount of money German FA pour into the competition. In FA Cup only around £20.3 million is distributed participating teams while in DFB Pokal a total of €75.2 million will be distributed aming 64 teams.

DFB Pokal Prize Money Fund For 2025/26

For 2025/26 tournament €68 million is allocated as prize money fund for first round to semifinals. Another €7.2 million is allocated only for the final where winners take home €4.32m while runner-up get the remaining €2.88 million. Thats on top of what finalists have already accumulated in the previous rounds.

Team going all the way and winning it eventually can accumulate as much as €10.8 million which include €4.32m for winning the final. All 64 Teams qualifying for first round in 2025 will get €211,886 compared to €209,453 in 2024/25 season. Similarly prize money increases slightly until semifinals but final payouts remain the same like last year.
