Club World Cup 2025 Prize Money

FIFA has rebranded the Club World Cup which use to take place every year where only winners of continental competitions (such as UEFA Champions League, AFC Champions League etc) were invided. But after the rebranding, FIFA has made several big changes and this club competition is set to become the most lucrative in the world for participating teams. Below is the breakdown of changes FIFA has brought in for this competition and how much clubs are set to each in this month long competition.

FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Big Changes You Need To Know:

1). This tournament will now take place every four years. Will become equivalent that of FIFA World Cup at club level.

2). 32 Teams will participate in the competition which will be decided on a four-year cycle performances in their regional competitions.

3). Huge prize money incentive where eventual winners can take home as much as $125 million. A total of $1 billion will be distributed among 32 teams some of which will be guaranteed payments rest will be performance based. FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Entire Prize Money Breakdown:

FIFA has announced that $1 billion fund is allocated for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup which takes place in USA from June-July 2025. Eventual winners can take home as much as $125 million.

$1 billion fund is further divided into two parts

1). Guaranteed payments to all participating clubs - $525 million

A guaranteed payment will be made to each club depending on which continent it belogs to. Plus their is commercial and sporting merits on how the ranking will be decided. For example clubs from Europe will get minimum $12.8 million to maximum $38 million from this portion. While south American teams can get $15 million guaranteed. Clubs from Asia, Africa and Central America will get guaranteed fee of $9.55 million for 2025 tournament.

2). Performance based payments - $475 million

Winning a group game will get club $2 million, drawing a group game will get $1million. reaching Round of 16 will add another $7.5 million. Reaching quarterfianls will get clubs another $13 million. Semifinal will get another $21 million. While runners-up will get $30 million added to the tally while eventual winners can get $40 million.

*Eventual winners can clear as much as $87.4 from performance related prize money pot.
