Atletico Madrid and Nike Kit Deal (Financial Breakdown)

Atletico Madrid signed financially improved kit deal extension with Nike extending the agreement until 2035. New deal was announced in April 2025 where Nike will be paying Atletico Madrid €28 million per season compared to only €15 million they were getting with the previous 9-year contract.
This 2025/35 kit deal will provide significant financial boost to the club over the next 10 years and specially during transition years of establishing themselves at the new stadium. Atletico and Nike initially signed Kit contract back in 2001 which was only worth € 1 million a-year. With the new contract extension this will become one of the longest-running kit partnerships in European football alongside Barcelona and Real Madrid kit deals with Nike and Adidas respectively.

Atletico-Nike initial deal was signed back in 2001 which was reportedly worth only €1 million a-year, increasing gradually to €3.5 million a-year by 2012. After several competitive season's in Champions League Atletico and Nike signed financially improved 10-year contract (20217/2026) which guaranteed Atletico €15 million a-year.
