In PSL 2025, Peshawar Zalmi had salary cap of a Rs. 33.6 Crore PKR ($1.2 million) which was distributed among 18 squad players who were drafted in 2025 draft in 6 different categories.

• Platinum Category: Three players were drafted in Platinum category that includes Babar Azam, Rovman Powell and Noor Ahmad. All three earning Rs. 4.2 Crore ($150,000) for 2025 edition. 
• Diamon Category: Saim Ayub, Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Asif Ali were drafted in Diamond Category which had salary of Rs. 2.02 Crore ($72,500) for 2025 edition.
• Gold Category: Mohammad Haris, Aamir Jamal and Naveen-ul-Haq were picked as Gold category earning  Rs. 1.25 Crore PKR ($45,000) each. 
• Silver Category: Arshad Iqbal, Salman Irshad, Arif Yaqoob, Umair Afridi, Daniel Mousley and Waqar Salamkheil were picked as silver category earning Rs. 56 Lac PKR (US$20,000)
• Emerging Category: Haseebullah Khan and Mohammad Zeeshan were picked as Emerging category earning Rs. 21 Lakh PKR ($7,500)
• Supplementary Category: Mehran Mumtaz was picked as Supplementary category earning Rs. 14 Lakh ($5,000).
