Shaheen Shah Afridi
Shaheen Shah Afridi is currently in the Category A of PCB Central Contract earning him Rs. 5.4 Crore PKR ($190,000) yearly salary. That is only the basic retainer paid by PCB to category A players. Shaheen Shah also earns part of ICC revenue share that amounts to around Rs, 2.4 Crore PKR ($82,000) yearly for Category A players. Last but not the least comes match fee everytime he plays for Pakistani in any of the three formats. He can get Rs. 1.25 million ($4,500) per test match, Rs.645,000 ($2,300) for every ODI Match and Rs. 420,000 ($1,500) for every T20i.
It is estimated he can clear around Rs. 8 to 10 Crores PKR yearly with his central contract. Alot of depend on his fitness, the more matches he plays higher the final earnings are from PCB.
