Albert Guðmundsson has joined Fiorentina from Genoa for reported €13 million transfer fee. He signed 4-year (2025/29) contract at Fiorentina increasing his salary to €2.2 million (net). Which will only cost Fiorentina €2.82m (gross) per season due to growth decree tax-relief in Italy for clubs buying certain foreign players.
Albert Guðmundsson was earning €1.2 million (net) per season during his last year at Genoa thanks to financially improved contract he signed back in December 2023.
