Manchester City has extended their Kit manufacturer's contract with PUMA until 2034/35 season. Puma will pay Man City £100 million ($134m) per season to be their official technical partners. This new kit deal makes it the most lucrative kit contract in Premier League overtaking United-Adidas £90 million deal. Man City and Puma first signed kit deal back in 2019 for 10 years which was worth £65 million a-year. This new deal will replace that contract starting from 2025/26 season.
Manchester City and Puma New Kit Deal (Breakdown)
New Man City and Puma kit deal will come into play starting from 2025/26 season. Puma will pay City, £100 million a-year to be their official kit manufacturers for men, women and all youth level teams. Puma also get full contract of Man City's merchandising operations which they will expand under their brand called 'STICHD' by opening Man City official stores around the world. This deal looks more lucrative on paper compared to what Adidas are paying United. But unlike United, City do not retain any merchandising operations with this deal. If we take into account United's contract with Adidas, United not only get £90 million a-year from Adidas but also retain most of their merchandising operations which bring in alot more cash for the club.
