Kit deals have become a major revenue stream for football clubs and their value has surged over the last two decades. Manchester United dominated the 2000s and 2010s, but Barcelona and Real Madrid now hold the two biggest kit contracts ever signed in football.
However Premier League still rules the market overall, with 10 clubs in the Top 20 and a combined kit income of €576 million (2025/26) around 89% more than nearest rivals La Liga’s €305 million (2025/26) combined kit deal revenue. No other league comes close to the scale of commercial power English clubs generate today.

FC Barcelona recently extended their contract with Nike for further 14 years with €122 million/year making it the biggest kit deal in football history. Real Madrid have similar leve deal with Adidas which bring in around €117.6 million/year. Manchester United's £90 million (€103m/year) put them third in the list of biggest kit contracts.
