Premier League Domestic & Overseas TV Rights (Breakdown)

Premier League is set to pull further away from the competition with incredible growth in next oversees tv & streaming rights deals. Premier League will generate around 18% more in 2025/29 cycle compared to previous one.
The growth in international market is so big that now it has overtaken domestic rights in terms of value. We breakdown both domestic and international rights for next 2025/29 cycle.
Domestic Rights - £6.7 billion (4% increase)
SkySports and TNT sports have secured the domestic Premier League rights for 2025/29 cycle while BBC retain the highlight package. A total of £6.7 billion will be generated from the domestic rights majority of it coming from SkySports who got four of the 5 packages available. Which means they will show 215 matches per season. While TNT secured 52 live matches per season.

*That brings it to £1.67 billion per season from domestic rights only for next 4-years (2025/29).
International TV Rights - £6.5 billion (23% increase)
However it was the international rights market for Premeir League which got the biggest increase. It is estimated that around £6.5 billion will be generated in the next 3-year (2025/28) cycle. Which is 23% more then the previous £5.6 billion generated in (2022/25) cycle. Oversees rights have now overtaken domestic rights in terms of value and that too by some margine.
Increase in overseas rights value will directly effect how much every club in premier league will earn starting from 2025/26 season. Since premier league distribute TV rights revenue from both domestic and oversees centrally we calculated and estimate around £20 million a-year more for every club compared to last year.

Combined value for both domestic and international rights:
Combined value has reached record breaking £13.2 billion for next 3-year cycle. That means around £3.77 billion will be generated only from TV rights. Add in another £120 million from central commercial revenue and we have £3.81 billion per season. From which 80% is distributed among premier league teams based on equal share and merit based.
