He signed financially improved 2 and half-year (2024/27) contract extension in January 2024. Aston Villa
Steven Gerrard was appointed as Aston Villa manager back in November 2021. He signed 3 and half-year (2021/25) contract at the club with salary of £5 million per-season (according to BBC). However he was sacked by October 2022 after winning only 2 of the 12 league games in 2021/22 season.
