Bayer Leverkusen
Bayer Leverkusen Wage Bill 2025/26 Season:
Bayer Leverkusen has enjoyed massive success over the last couple of seasons under Xabi Alonso and that too at fraction of the wage bill compared to Bayern Munich. Leverkusen's wage bill is fourth highest in Bundesliga behind the likes of Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund. Their wage bill at the end of 2024/25 season was around €89 million only and that is almost 3x less then Bayern Munich.
With appiontment of Erik Ten Haag as new manager and with Florian Writz moving away from the club we can expect their wage bill to stay at the same numbers of not less in the 2025/26 season. At the moment, Alejandro Grimaldo is the highest paid player in the squad with salary of around €6 million (base) plus another €3 million in performance related bonuses. Leverkusen's wage structure is highly incentive based where players are earning 50% more then their base salary if they can meet certain performance related clauses.
*We breakdown each player's contract in Leverkusen squad and how much they are getting paid. All the salary numbers are taken from trusted sources in German media. Although not 100% accurate since european clubs do not disclose salary numbers officially, but player agents/representatives usually leak salaries. Other contract details are verified because they are disclosed official.
