Flamengo Contract: Saúl Ñíguez joined Flamengo (Brazil) from Atletico Madrid on free-transfer in July 2025. He signed 3 and half-yeat contract until December 2028 with reduced wages compared to what he was earning at Atletico. However signing bonuses and number of performance incentives make his yearly package of around $5 million/year.
Atletico Madrid: Saúl Ñíguez came through Atletico youth systems and signed his first professional contract in 2012. He signed multiple contract extensions at Atletico including the historic 9-year contract signed in July 2017 with base salary of €3.6 million (net) / €6.5/ (gross) per-year.
