Moussa Diaby moved to Al-Ittihad from Aston Villa for a reported €60 million in transfer fee. He signed 5-year (2024/29) contract with Saudi club worth €10.4 million a-year ($12m). Reports of higher salary published on other platforms are fake news as according to several tier 1 sources including Rudy Galetti, Diaby was offered longer contract with lower salary compared to Kante and Benzema.
