Robert Lewandowski is currently highest paid player in Barcelona due to the way his contract is structured. When he signed for Barcelona in July 2022 and signed a 4-year contract until the end of 2025/26 season his contract structured in a way to help Barcelona with FFP and salary cap rules. He was suppose to get €26 million a year gross salary but agreed for lower payments in the first 2 seasons (€20m and €22m).
