Ruben Amorim


Ruben Amorim was appointed Manchester United manager back in November 2024. He signed initial two and half-year (2024/27) contract at the club with option to extend until 2028. Manchester United paid €11 million (£9.5m) in compensation to Sporting for manager transfer.
Ruben Amorim's 3-year deal is worth £19.5 million in total according to several tier 1 reporters including Jamie Jackson of Guardian. That translates to £6.5 million a-year in basic wages.
He is also entitled to number of bonuses including qualifying for Champions League, winning cup competitions. Erik Ten Haag was paid £2 million in bonuses for finishing in Champions League places and Ruben Amorim have similar clauses.
According to BBC his total package is around £10 million a-year if all objectives are meet in a season. Ruben Amorim was earning around €2.5 million a-year during his last two years at Sporting Lisbon.
