Coppa Italia 2026 Prize Money (Confirmed)

Coppa Italia is the premier domestic cup comeptition in Italy and over the last few years, Italian FA has boosted financial rewards for this comeptition significantly. First major development came back in 2021 when €48 million-per-year deal was signed from 2021/24 period. However Italia FA managed to sell the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana rights bundled together for €58 million annually which has increased the prize money pot for both cup competitions. We breakdown how much teams can earn from 2026 Coppa Italia campaign.
Coppa Italia 2026 Prize Money Breakdown:
Coppa Italia rights are sold in bundled with SuperCoppa Italiana. Mediaset bought the domestic rights outright for around €58 million annually for 2025/228 cycle. There will be money also pouring in from sales of oversees rights which will be around €25 million a year. From the total yearly revenue some percentage is kept by Italia FA and small portion is distributed among lower tier clubs. From the rest prize money pools are created for both Coppa Italia and SuperCoppa Italiana.
For 2026 Coppa Italia around €30 million prize money pool is expected where teams are paid how they finish in the tournament. There are total 7 rounds in the comptition which begins in August every year. Teams participating in Preliminary round of first phase are paid around €10,000 each followed by €25,000 and €50,000 each for 1st and 2nd round respectively in first phase.
From the round of 16 prize money shoots up to €400,000 per team. Followed by €850,000 for reaching quarterfinals, €1.7 million for playing in the semifinals. The runners up can earn another €1.7 million The eventual winners can take home around €7.1 million from full campaign (€2.5 million for winning the final).

*As the prize money keep adding as teams qualify further into the tournament. That is why team winning the tournament can take home as much as €7.1 million from the tournament prize money pot. While the runners-up can earn as much as €4.6 million.
