UEFA Conference League Prize Money
UEFA Conference League is one the three european tournaments which take place every year under UEFA banner. Just like UEFA Champions League and Europa League, Prize money in Conference League is also divided into two parts.
1). Performance related payments 2). TV Rights share. We breakdown how much each of the 144 clubs taking part in this tournament from qualifying round to the final, can earn from their campaign.
UEFA Conference League Prize Money Fund:
From UEFA's yearly total prize money fund (€3.345 billion) allocated for three european cup competitions. Only 10% (€300.1 million) is reserved for UEFA Conference League prize money. Which is divided among 144 participating clubs according to two main criteria.
1. Performance Based Pillar (Payments made to clubs according to how they perform in the tournament)
2. TV Market Value Pillar (Payments made to clubs on basis of value of their TV market)
1. Performance Based Distribution:
Performance based pool is divided according to how the teams perform in the tournament. Starting from very first qualifying round where eliminated teams are paid €150,000 + €175,000. Followed by payments to losing teams in 2nd, 3rd qualifying round and playoffs.
For 36 teams qualifying for league phase a guaranteed €3.17 million is paid to each of them. Followed by payments according to each win/draw and reaching later stages.

*A club winning the tournament can earn as much as €19 million from performance based payments if they have flawless Conference league campaign. For example Chelsea made €18.7 million from performance related prize money by winning the 2024/25 Conference League.
2. TV Market Value Pillar
Uefa also make payments to 36 clubs who qualify for League Phase according to their TV market value. For example Chelsea who come from top 5 league earned €3 million from TV Market share in 2024/25 season.
While clubs coming from lower ranked leagues can earn depending on 5-year and 10-year coefficient set by UEFA for their league. For example Larne FC from Ireland only made €444,000 from TV market share.
UEFA Conference League 2025/26 Prize Money Distribution (Confirmed)
In total Crystal Palace is set to clear €21.5 million from their 2025/26 Conference league campaign. While Rayo Vallecano who reached the final will earn around €19.13 million combined from both pillar payments. Clubs who finished in bottom 6 should clear between €3.7m to €4.6 million each.
