In 2019 Real Madrid and Adidas extended their kit contract until 2028 with Real Madrid getting financially improved terms of €120 million per year starting from 2020/21 season. This is currently the most lucrative kit deal in world football and only Barcelona's Nike deal signed in 2024 matches it in terms of revenue. However if we factor in Merchandising revenue, Real Madrid clear around €150 million a-year from this Adidas deal making it outright most lucrative kit contract not only in football but sports in general.

Real Madrid were getting only €35 million a-year with their previous contract with Adidas but this new deal which came into play from 2020 elevated their yearly earning to whole different level.
