In 2019 Real Madrid and Adidas extended their kit contract until 2028 with Real Madrid getting financially improved terms of €120 million per year starting from 2020/21 season. This is currently the most lucrative kit deal in world football and only Barcelona's Nike deal signed in 2024 matches it in terms of revenue.
