Sassuolo won the Serie B title and gained automatic promotion back to Italian Serie A. They had the biggest wage bill in Serie B in 2024/25 and that helped them to absolutely demolish Italy's second tier league. Now that they are back in Serie A we can expect their wage bill to rise considerably before the start of 2025/26 season.
